Our high school mentors are the backbone of NR-USE. As a mentor, you'll gain leadership and mentoring experience, share your love for STEM, and make a lasting impact on younger students. You'll also have the opportunity to gain volunteer hours for your work.
Guide - Work closely with one or more students in grades 3-8
Support - Help younger students brainstorm, design, and present their science fair projects
Coordinate - Communicate with parents and students to plan meeting times
Leadership Experience - Build Communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
STEM Enrichment - Deepen your understanding of STEM topics by teaching others.
Community Service - Meaningfully contribute to New Rochelle's youth.
